Alcohol and Pregnancy

Video: Alcohol, Smoking & Pregnancy

This is a March of Dimes public service announcement ad regarding the dangers of smoking and drinking during pregnancy. Please just do not do it. Drinking during pregnancy causes physical and mental defects. Everything you eat or drink passes to the baby through your placenta. Alcohol can be exceptionally toxic to a developing fetus’s neurological system. While some experts believe that an occasional glass of wine is harmless, others strongly advise erring on the side of caution and simply abstaining through pregnancy. It is over before you know it and the risk is just not worth taking.
